Introduction

In this world of "re-engineering," the term "Accounting Firm" is becoming obsolete. Accounting Firms now view themselves as "Professional Service Firms." This dramatically changes the role of the accountant. The profession requires highly visible, articulate business professionals with the ability to interact on many levels within a client's organization this in turn requires individuals with diverse background sand sharp IQ.

CFE aims to make the students feel at home in a friendly environment, especially for females. The Administration and Student Services and the Faculty make thier utmost effort to help its students in providing assistance of every sort, whether it is related to their studies or career counseling. CFE extends all its services to solve the problems of the students.

Students are provided with study opportunities beyond normal classroom hours either in the Library or in the discussion room. The use of Computer Lab is encouraged, particularly for practicing MCQ’s of all papers of CAT and ACCA, which virtually cover all aspects of the syllabus of a particular paper.

Our MISSION is to educate and prepare a diverse array of students for financial studies, and we plan to accomplish this by building on students' academic foundation and enhancing communication, analytical, and methodical skills through individual attention, intellectual growth, and applied learning.

Adnan Rashid is a Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession and is amongst those few who have qualified CA in first attempt. After the successful completion of his training from KPMG Lahore in the year 1999, he worked as Manager Finance with a multinational organization for 5 years. He has enormous experience in teaching and mentoring students of Accountancy and Finance. His area of specialization in teaching is Advanced Financial Management. Mr. Asim Amin – Director of the institute and Dean Academics. Asim Amin is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Associate Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA). He completed his training from KPMG, Lahore in the year 2000. He has been engaged with professional teaching since early years of his professional life. Before joining CFE as full time educationist, Asim Amin worked as a Financial Analyst in Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (Pvt.) Limited, (PACRA) Lahore and as a Manager Audit and Cost Control in Qarshi Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. Lahore. Mr. Khalid Kabeer - Director of the institute. Khalid Kabeer is a Chartered Accountant (CA) by profession. He completed his mandatory training from a leading Chartered Accountant firm named A.F Ferguson & Co. in year 2000. He has worked closely on strategic planning and decision making both at entity and group level. He specializes in strategic financial management, treasury and risk management functions along with practical experience of working in different organizations like Nishat Group, Kashf Foundation and Kashf Microfinance Bank. He is currently working as Chief Financial Officer with Kashf Microfinance Bank. As one of the founder member he successfully launched the Center of Financial Excellence (CFE) and has been engaged actively in teaching Financial Reporting and Audit to the students of ACCA. He is also actively involved in developing and implanting the over all strategy of CFE.
