First to learn FIA promotional campaign organized for CFE CAT students
Mr. Shakaib Khan led the session with a welcome note and a formal introduction of CFE staff and complimented that with the purpose of arranging this activity. He also explained the demands for accountants in the world and the importance of CAT/ACCA qualification, it's globally recognition, and its acceptance across all four corners of the world. He further explained the importance and need of accountancy in today's world including Pakistan by giving some real life examples.
This was followed by a presentation on the new structure of FIA qualification, its transition arrangements, key dates, online registration, procedure the possible entry routes into the system, the modes of exams, registration deadlines, certificates and diplomas offered in the qualification. He suggested students to join ACCA through appropriate entry routes so that they can have a good grounding in accounting and finance before joining ACCA.
The event concluded with a Q&A session where the student's asked various questions which demonstrated their interest in the FIA qualification. The difference between ACCA/ CAT and FIA was thoroughly and clearly explained which helped students differentiate between both frameworks.
