| ACCA FROM CAT - AN INTRODUCTION |
This technician qualification is gateway to ACCA and entitles young students to claim exemption from 3 papers of ACCA on its completion. This course ensures smooth sailing of students through ACCA course, as it provides very sound technical knowledge base.

Out of the total 9 papers, T1, T2, T3 and T4 can be attempted either manually (in June/ December) or can be taken as Computer Based Examinations (CBE) at the approved CBE centers at the time of mutual convenience |

The pass rate is 55% at Introductory Level, 50% at Intermediate Level and 50% at Advanced Level

No limit to the numbers of papers that can be taken, recommended number is four papers at any session |

Papers can be taken in any order, though numerical order is recommended |
| EXAM FORMAT |
The introductory and advanced levels have 2 hour examinations with Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) whereas the advanced level has 3 hours examinations.
| COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATIONS |
Computer Based Examinations (CBE) is held almost every month for first 4 papers, as identified above. The exact amount of CBE fee can be enquired from the Admissions Office.
| TRANSFER TO ACCA PROFESSIONAL SCHEME |
Once you have completed all of ACCA's Accounting Technician examinations, you will automatically be transferred to ACCA's professional scheme and be awarded exemptions from Part 1 papers F1 to F3.
